The Studio
Latin for “the spirit of a place.” Every project, we listen for it first.
Founded in 2020, The Genius Loci is a small architecture and interiors studio practising from Meerut. We design homes, workspaces, and commercial spaces with a single discipline — buildings should belong to where they stand.
What We Do
Architecture · Residential, Commercial, Institutional
Residential, commercial, and institutional architecture — designed for the climate, the light, the rituals, and the people of the place. Schematic design through construction documentation, every drawing partner-reviewed.
Selected Work
A small selection of homes, interiors, and commercial spaces we’ve shaped — each rooted in the place it stands.
How We Work
Five deliberate steps from the first conversation to the day we hand you the keys.
We begin with the place. The light, the wind, the neighbours, the climate, and most importantly — the people who'll live in it.
Hand-drawn studies. Massing models. The first imagined version of your space, before pixels touch it.
3D visualisation, material palettes, lighting plans, and Vastu alignment — refined together with you.
We oversee construction ourselves. Material procurement, on-site supervision, vendor coordination — turnkey, in the truest sense.
The keys, and a relationship. Every Genius Loci project carries our names — and our continued involvement.

Why Genius Loci
Three convictions that shape every brief, every sketch, every site visit.
— 01
Every drawing, every site visit, every material decision passes through a partner. No project is delegated past the people whose names sit on the door.
— 02
Architecture, interiors, and construction under one roof. One studio, one timeline, one bill of work.
— 03
We design for India — its climate, its light, its rituals. Vastu is not an afterthought; it's part of the conversation from the first sketch.
